Do you remember the first time you got your period? I do. I knew what it was and it still freaked me out. And I hated using those huge pads that were my moms.
Recently in my web travels, I came across Dot Girl First Period Products. Dot Girl First Period Products was founded by Kathy Pinkus and her sister Terri Goodwin. They created the kit after many conversations reminiscing about how unprepared they were when they first started menstruating. Even though they had a loving and supportive mother, it was still a topic that was difficult to talk about.
One of my favorite items that is available for purchase is The Dot Girl's First Period Kits. This is something that I wish was around when I was younger and am so glad that it is around now.
The kit includes The Dot Girl's First Period Guide, which contains answers to common questions girls might have about their period; The Dot Girl's First Period Calendar, to help girl's track their period over a year; Scensibles Disposable bags; a Kotex product brochure; a coupon for free Kotex product; hand wipes, a reusable Dot Girl heating pad for cramps and samples of Kotex products.
