Review: Ristorante Pizza by Dr. Oetker

THE REVIEW: I recently was part of a BzzAgent Campaign for Ristorante Pizza by Dr. Oetker.  I was given two coupons for free pizza.  I got to the store and there were quite a few choices:
* Mozzarella: Fresh mozzarella, sun-ripened tomatoes, zesty pesto sauce
* Spinaci: Savory leaf spinach, mozzarella, hearty garlic sauce
* Funghi: Aromatic mushrooms, mozzarella, tomato sauce, parsley, oregano
* Quattro Formaggi: 4 premium cheeses: edam, mozzarella, emmental, blue cheese, basil seasoning
* Vegetale: Tangy tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, chilies, sour cream sauce
* Speciale: Pepperoni, cooked ham, spicy herbs

I picked the Quattro Formaggi and the Speciale since I figured that the kids might be willing to try the Quattro Formaggi and I knew that Greg would love the Speciale.
I brought them home and we popped them in the oven.  It took about 12 minutes and the pizza was done.   We sliced them and tried to give some to the kids but neither one was willing to try them.  Greg and I were okay with that since it was more for us!
I really like the Quattro Formaggi- the 4 cheeses were great and really blended together nicely.  I loved the basil seasoning and was pleased that the crust had a really good crunch to it.  I do like my pizza to have a little more sauce, but overall  I thought it was fantastic for a frozen pizza.  Greg really enjoyed the Speciale.
We will definitely be buying these again and I recommend that you give them a try.  A good easy way to have a delicious reasonably priced meal.

Gerber Graduates Review and Bzz

THE REVIEW:
Sara loves any type of snacky food, so we were excited when we were invited to join the Bzz Campaign for Gerber Graduates. We were given a sample of Fruit Twists, Cereal Twists and Juice Treats.



Sara liked all of them. Her favorite was the cereal twist because it was "yummy and good". She liked the juice treats and thought they were fun to eat (probably because of the size and gummy like feel to them). The fruit twists were okay. In Sara's words they were "yummy and yucky". Sometimes she can't decide if she likes something and that is how she describes them.

I am happy with these snacks since they are healthy and taste good all at the same time

Popsicle/Fudgsicle Review and Giveaway

THE REVIEW:

I have to admit it- I had forgotten how much I love reviewing stuff. I know that I have posted about how crazy my life was and I know I took a much needed break. But I really miss this.

Of course, it did not hurt to come home from a long day at work on Tuesday to a package with Popsicles in it. I am always excited when I get food to review and frozen chocolate goodness is one of my favorites.

I was also really interested when I read some of the information that I received from the sponsor. Did you know that according to a recent survey commissioned by Popsicle®, nearly 80% of moms admit to breaking into their children’s arsenal of snacks and desserts? Because of this, the survey revealed that the foods moms try most to avoid having in the house are candy and baked goods. It was honestly not something that I had even thought about until I had seen it written out for me, but it does not surprise me. What moms may not know is that there are snacks that both she and the kids will love! I have actually tried all of them at this point in time, and they are all really good. My favorite by far is the milk chocolate. And I figure at 60 calories and 1.5grams of fat, they really are a great and easy snack. And of course when Sara Rose saw me eating one, she needed one too. And in Sara's words- I love the brown lickypops. So it is a winner for her as well.

Fancy Fortune Cookies Review and Giveaway

THE REVIEW:

So about 6 months ago I was lucky enough to be asked to review a Gigantic Fortune Cookie. It was amazing. I would like to say that we got it and savored it for a few days...the reality is that we opened it and actually ate the entire thing the same day (which is probably really bad since it weighs over 1 pound).

This is actually the exact type of cookie that I received from Fancy Fortune Cookie.


In addition to just looking so cool (I mean really it is a huge chocolate and sprinkle covered fortune cookie), it tasted absolutely amazing! I mean we ate the entire freaking thing in one day, of course it was amazing right. Yoplait for Kids Review and Giveaway

THE REVIEW:

Sara is not a fan of most kids yogurts. I don't know if it is the lack of sugar or what it is (maybe she knows it is healthier and that is why she does not like it, who knows, right). But you know what she does love- Dora. That's right, Dora the Explorer is on the packaging of the yogurt, therefore making it delicious to Sara. Crazy, right? Seriously, she ate it like she loved yogurt and it was her favorite food in the world. Of course, I was thrilled since well, I was trying to get her to try it so I could do this review. And now I know that anytime I want her to try something I just need to put a picture of Dora on it. LOL

I figured I should give it a taste just to see how it is. It is really really good. It is smooth and creamy and tastes yummy, all vanilla and fruity. Okay, I admit it, I am actually eating it right now. And I love that it is so healthy, full of calcium and protein and vitamins. All that good stuff that Sara needs but doesn't know that she needs.
