I have posted before about how we are trying to be more "green"- cloth diapers, etc. I have also posted about how at our house we LOVE to read. Well when I was given the opportunity to review a site about ecofriendly books that you can actually read electronically, I was intrigued.
EcoBrainoffers a top-quality selection of eBooks and mp3 audio about the environment and environmentally-friendly living. Now I will say that when I first heard this, I was not terribly excited because it did not seem to be what I am interested in reading for leisure. And I really like to sit down with a book and relax. So I went into this review, hoping for the best but not really planning on finding anything of interest.
And then I actually checked out the site. There are some really cool looking reads: Big Green Purse which helps answer the question that many women ask- "What can I do to help the environment?"; Nature's Wonder which is an anti-coloring book that lets kids be creative however they want.
They are easy to order, you just find the book you want to purchase, add it to your cart and check-out. After you way, you can download your book and read it right then, that minute! I do love that aspect of it. I think I may need to buy a couple when I get some free time.
And guess what! They are giving our readers a chance to win a copy of an eBook: Radical Simplicity: Small Footprints on a Finite Earth!
