Review: Play-Doh Play-Dates

THE REVIEW:  Have you checked out Play-Doh Play-Dates?  It is so cool!  It is a website that gives you lots of different play ideas using Play-doh.  And who doesn't love Play-Doh, right?  It has been a kid favorite since it first showed up on the kid scene in 1956.
We love play-doh over at our house, so of course I was thrilled with the chance from Social Moms to do this review.  This month the theme is Haunted House, just in time for Halloween.  Sara and I took a look at the page together.
There are 3 different sections all having to do with the Haunted House:
Fresh Ideas
Crafts
Snacks

First we checked out the Fresh Ideas.  This is a section that has a few different play-doh creations that you can make and it takes you step-by-step how to do it.  We really liked it and thought the step-by-step was very thorough and easy to follow.  Sara was able to follow it with my assistance (Matty was distracted by his yogurt).

Then we looked at the snacks area.  We really liked the Jack-O-Lantern Oranges but Sara was not able to do it on her own and got a little frustrated with it.
Finally we checked out the craft area.  We LOVED this area.  We cut out the bats and spiders to help decorate for Halloween and then we printed out the cat mask.  Sara and Matty both thought that was so fun.

Overall, I think the website is fantastic and I am excited to try to make some of the other fresh ideas.  I think we will invite some friends over and have another play-doh play date soon.

FROM THE COMPANY:  You and your children will enjoy virtually endless hours of imaginative play with fun and engaging PLAY-DOH Play-Date ideas. Each theme includes step-by-step instructions to create PLAY-DOH Fresh Ideas, printable crafts, and healthy snacks to help you host the perfect PLAY-DOH Play-Date!
